The Anacortes Arts Festival Art in Bloom events at the Depot kick off this Friday with the Fine Art Exhibition Opening at 6 pm.

Featuring 30 regional artists, the show includes painting, photography, sculpture, wood, glass and mixed media. Enjoy wine, nibbles - and meet the artists. The Exhibition continues daily April 16 - 23, from 11 - 4.  

The NEW Art of Shopping Women’s event is Sunday, April 17 from 11 - 4. It includes jewelry, wearables, accessories and artsy activities - as well as a mimosa bar and hourly raffles. For $10, shoppers can start an hour early (10am), enjoy a free mimosa and raffle ticket.   
The 3rd annual Color Run is Saturday, April 23rd starting at 10am. This is a 5k fun run, during which runners get liberally painted with colored powder. Participants receive a t-shirt, wrist band, refreshments at the finish line and awards for top finishers. Suitable for groups of friends, family - even friendly dogs to this colorful fun event. There is a shorter run for kids under 12. Sign up through or the day of the race.
