STEM fundraiser Celebrate the Season returns

A fundraiser of Anacortes Schools Foundation, “Celebrate the Season” is a series of activities including public days, private parties and a lively Dinner and Auction.

Public Days feature photos with Santa, unique gift shopping, crafts, food and games.

The holiday-decorated space is open on December 5th and 6th. Take a photo with Santa, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie, play games, complete a craft, write a letter to Santa and shop for unique holiday gifts.  Admission is just $5 per person or $20 per family.  Public dates are:

Sunday, December 5, open noon to 5 PM

  • Live Entertainment through the day
  • 1 PM - Dance Center Troupe
  • 2 PM - An-o-Chords
  • 3 PM - Elliott Hofferth’s magic
  • 4 PM - Members of AHS Band

Saturday, December 6, open noon to 5 PM

  • Gingerbread All Day
  • Student and Adult Teams battle it out from 1 to 4 PM
  • Decorate your own mini-house

Saturday, December 12, Doors open at 5:30 PM

The “Dream It” Dinner/Auction is the premier event of “Celebrate the Season”

This fun evening is open to the whole community – business leaders, retired residents, parents, teachers … young and old. We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Gere-a-deli, drink, participate in a lively “raise the paddle auction” plus enjoy the sounds of the season with The Kellee Bradley Band.
