"Salish Sea Art Exhibit: Life on the Saanich Peninsula B.C." will be featured at the Anacortes Depot Arts & Community Center on Friday, November 6, noon to 9 pm (for the Art Walk) and Saturday, November 7, 10 am to 3 pm. This exhibit is the first part of an art exchange between the Sister Cities of Anacortes and Sidney. Anacortes artists will be invited exhibit their artwork for a similar event next May, 2016, at the Tulista Art Centre, a Sidney gallery. Sidney artists, Sister City members and city officials have been invited to attend this first collaboration between the Sister Cities, the Anacortes Arts Commission and the Community Arts Council of the Saanich Peninsula, B.C. Both art events will accentuate and celebrate all the two cites share as communities on the shores of the Salish Sea.
