The annual June First Friday Gallery Walk will feature a special exhibit featuring the Women Painters of Washington, an exhibit at Scott-Milo which presents the artwork of 49 women whose work was juried into the show by Anacortes artist Anne Schreivogl.

The Gallery Walk is Friday, June 5 from 6 – 9 pm, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce Summer Artwalk.

Anne Martin McCool Gallery, 711 Commercial Ave.

Anne Martin McCool Gallery is celebrating its “Closing Show and Party” featuring stone sculptures by Tracy Powell and paintings by Anne Martin McCool. The gallery will be closing June 7th.

Burton Jewelers, 620 Commercial Ave.

The June artwalk at Burton Jewelers will be the last artwalk for the Linda Henley wildflower watercolor paintings and Lundberg flower artglass show. Also there will be new custom jewelry designs by Doug Burton and new Designs by the collaboration of Ora Petersen and Philip Burton. Refreshments, as always, will be served.

Scott Milo Gallery, 420 Commercial Ave.

Scott Milo Gallery presents a juried show with the Women Painters of Washington. Juror, Anne Schreivogl, of Anacortes chose 48 pieces of work in a variety of mediums representing “Summer Impressions”. Come meet many of the artists!

The Majestic Inn and Spa, 419 Commercial Ave.

The Majestic is featuring acrylics by Lois Judd. Lois likes to paint people, landscapes, and abstract variations of the still life. She develops the sensation of a chosen image: movement, stillness, pattern, joy, melancholy, or reflection. Lois works primarily in acrylics and sometimes includes mixed media. Her drawings are primarily using layered pigments, ink, and washes in their development.

Apothecary Spa (2nd floor of Majestic), 419 Commercial Ave.

The Apothecary Spa is proud to feature the artwork of Casey Olsen. She specializes in fine art and has painted for years as a hobby. She is most intrigued with painting people and loves to focus on faces. Casey paints with acrylic and uses different styles and techniques depending on the piece. Come see her beautiful display on Art Walk or stop in anytime for a tour.

The Depot Gallery, 611 R Ave.

The Anacortes Arts Commission presents “Whatever Boats You Float”, celebrating the Anacortes marine heritage and history. Join us on First Friday, June 5th, 6-9 pm at the Depot Arts & Community Center, 611 R Ave and City Hall 904 6th St. The Depot will also be open on Saturday, June 6th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. And Sunday, noon - 4:00 pm
