The November First Friday Gallery Walk features new work by Dianna Shyne, such as "Water Taxi Dock" at Scott-Milo and works by Birgit LaFace, who grew up in Sweden, at the Apothecary Spa.

The Gallery Walk is Friday, November 7 from 6 – 9 pm.

The gallery presents Northwest acrylics by Dianna Shyne of Camano Island. Also showing are oils by James Moore, acrylics by Larry Heald, landscape pastels by Barbara Benedetti Newton and abstract oils by Mira Kamada. We will also have lots of new jewelry and glass work by regional artists.

The Majestic is proud to show acrylics by Terry MacDonald. MacDonald says, “Often I turn to birds and animals for their quirky expressions, lively activity and free-spirited attitudes. Flowers are another favorite. More and more I find myself reaching inside and letting out expression through bursts of color, lines and marks in a more abstract style.”

The Apothecary Spa is proud to feature Birgit LaFace as our November artist. As a child growing up in Sweden, she has always enjoyed drawing and painting. Her paintings reflect her love of the outdoors. “My wish is to express all that beauty through my art and to convey the feeling I had when I experienced that certain moment in a special place.” Please join us on Art Walk or stop by any time for a tour!

Anacortes Arts Commission presents The Salish Sea Plein Air Painters. The Theme includes Homes, Boats, and Views from Fidalgo Island. Open First Friday Artwalk, November 7 from 6-9 pm and Saturday, November 8 from 10 am - 2:00 pm.
