KP Studios will be showing an exhibition of Anita Luvera Mayer’s work with twenty vests created from one pattern. Each vest unique featuring a wide range of techniques including weaving, beading, knitting, embroidery and hand dyeing.

Burton Jewelers will open a new show with the intriguing oil paintings by Max Benjamin, of Guemes Island, together with the interesting collaborative glass art by Steve Klein.

The gallery presents new photo encaustic work by Kathy Hastings. She will have her renowned boat reflections and my images with the regional birds. Pat Sayre has been painting for nearly 40 years starting in watercolors, and now mostly in acrylics. The majority of Pat's work consists of florals and landscapes but she has moved to abstracts as well, claiming to "love all kinds of subjects and styles." The key, Pat says, is color, composition and light. The Majestic Inn and Spa is proud to host her pieces for the month of August.
