First Friday Gallery Walk this week

Some of the artists that will be included at Scott-Milo are Christa Malay, Anne Belov, Elizabeth Ockwell, Tony Turpin, Beki Killoran, Joanne Kollman, Mamie Joy Rayburn and many more.

The Gallery Walk is Friday, June 7 from 6 – 9 pm in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce Summer Artwalk.

Anne Martin McCool Gallery will feature Anne Martin McCool paintings and prints and Jane Hyde's Hand Woven baskets. Other Gallery Artists include: Tracy Powell sculpture, George Way and Art Learmonth hand turned wood, Bryce Mann Photographs, Bob Metke glass, Carole Cunningham and Debbie Aldrich jewelry and others artists.

Burton Jewelers is showing Guemes artist, Leo Osborne with his latest collection of sculptures and paintings. Be sure to come see “In like a Lion!” Visit with the artist at the gallery walk on Friday, June 7.

Scott Milo Gallery presents a collection of etchings and giclee prints by regional artists represented by Islands International of Guemes Island. We will have 30 artists in the show. Also showing is new jewelry artist, Cate Grinzell and all new purses and scarves by Andi Shannon.

The Majestic Inn is presenting work by Maggi Mason. As an artist in oils and mixed media, I draw my inspiration from books I have read, from music and legends, and from my experiences living and traveling in many different countries such as Europe, Scandinavia, the Far East and here in America. Most of my work is from my imagination and also sometimes from memories of people and landscapes which touched me in some way.

The Apothecary Spa has teamed up the the Depot again for June. Our theme is On the Water, in honor of the Waterfront Festival. Several local artists make up this collection. Paintings, mixed media and photography will be on display in the halls and the sanctuary.
