The Puget Sound Partnership has approved a grant of $2 million toward the purchase of Kiket and Flagstaff islands at the south end of Similk Bay.

Plans for the Seafarers’ Memorial Park include a new pier and floating dock which will make it easier to launch small boats. After a $20-million environmental clean up, the beach will be cleaner, too.
