An Anacortes Police detective spent the second straight day in Snohomish County continuing to search for missing retired high school counselor Keith Anderson. Anderson, a popular counselor who retired 2 years ago from Anacortes High School, went missing January 6.
The City Council has okayed giving property tax breaks for new residential construction in the downtown business district. The new rules are designed to jump-start the creation of new residential housing above downtown businesses.
