Celebrate 26 years of waterfront fun with sea shanties, fish mongers, boat rides, boat races and more, at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival this weekend.

The City of Anacortes – Anacortes Arts Commission – is seeking artists for a new project to beautify Anacortes, while providing a service to the bike commuters in the community.

The planned rebuild of the high school moved a step ahead this week when the School Board on Thursday evening approved a resolution to sell $86.9 million in bonds to be repaid over 20 years.
