Officers locked up a house after a call that construction equipment and household goods were in a garage with the door open.

State Route 20/North Cascades Highway is set to reopen at least one more time in 2017. Following the second temporary closure in three weeks, the scenic highway is scheduled to open Tuesday, Nov. 7.

A 53-year old Anacortes man’s two large breed dogs were impounded by APD’s Animal Control Officer after the Officer on Monday chased them down on the west side of D Ave. The owner faces two charges of dog-at-large.
