Well, it looks like more sunshine is on the way, so we're hopeful that it will dry out our water-logged farms. Berries should make an appearance next week, but while we wait, there is plenty of produce (along with cheese, honey, baked goods, etc.) becoming available each week.
The new Northwest Career & Technical Academy marine skills center will be ready to open for classes on schedule on Sept. 1, Project Manager Bryan Young told the School Board during a tour on Thursday.
