Ian and Joy Sloan took the opportunity that was presented by a sunny Thursday afternoon to go out sailing for a couple of hours after work. They're launching their F-18, 18-foot catamaran, Joyride, at Seafarers Memorial Park. This weekend, they'll be competing in races at Shilshole Marina in Seattle. They own Anacortes Rigging and Yacht Services.
