Area Law Enforcement agencies will be open from 10:00 a.m., to 2:00 p.m., this Saturday for “Drug Take-Back Saturday.”  Each Police Department and the Sheriff's Office will open their doors to people who want to safely dispose of over-the-counter, and prescription medications.

Members of the City Council voiced support for a new so-called "Provisional Agreement" between the county and cities to fund a new $55-million to $60-million county jail with an increase in the sales tax rate of three-tenths of one percent.
