Island Hospital and two other local hospitals seeking a partnership with a larger hospital system have scheduled a community forum next week in Mount Vernon.

Police charged a Sinclair Island man with DUI after he dozed off at a red traffic signal, blocking drive-home traffic on Highway 20. Police had seen the driver weaving and speeding before he slammed on his brakes for that red light at Sharpes Corner.
