Anacortes Police arrested a man who had drug paraphernalia visible in his pocket when he flagged down a police officer to ask a question. The man also had 33 grams of marijuana.

Watch out for pirates this weekend. The Seafair Pirates will be here Saturday as part of the 9th Annual Pacific Northwest Latitudes & Attitudes Cruisers Party, which comes to Cap Sante Boat Haven Friday through Sunday.
