If you've been following the adventures of the moving Postal Service mail drop box -- you know, the one that used to be in the Post Office parking lot -- well, we've got news for you. No, it hasn't moved again, but a new drop box has appeared.

The state Ecology Dept. has just approved oil spill readiness plans for the Shell and Tesoro refineries on March Point. 

An official with the Port says all the kinks have been worked out which will allow an Anthony's restaurant to open next to the Cap Sante Marine next summer, perhaps as early as the end of next June. Construction could start in November.

The 98-year old Depot Arts Center is getting a facelift this week as volunteers scrape and paint. We caught up with Dave Lowry of Lowry Painting as he did some work on one of the doors.

An officer stopped a car on highway 20 near Reservation Road that was traveling at about 100 miles per hour. The car was stolen. Also this week: Over $10,000 worth of construction tools and equipment were stolen from a work site.
