An Anthony's Restaurant could open next to Cap Sante Marina sometime next summer, if the Port Commissioners approve a lease for the property when they meet Thursday night.
The city has issued an appeal to conserve water because the Skagit River, where Anacortes gets its water, is unusually low and below the minimum required to protect habitat. And, the city says the river is expected to stay low for several days.

with domestic violence assault, malicious mischief, hit and run, and
reckless driving; break-ins at 2 medical offices, and 3 cases of the theft of outboard motors.
That mail drop box that had been moved from the Post Office parking lot to Fifth St. has been moved again. Now it's located on Sixth St. next to the Post Office and across the sidewalk from the street.
