Simply Yards is building a new home for itself and will soon be moving out of the Commercial Ave. corridor to the northeast corner of Reservation Rd. and Highway 20.

This year’s 20th annual Salvation Army Bike Drive supplied 22 bicycles to needy local families and individuals.

A gingerbread house contest is always great fun, in part watching kids build one, but also looking at the finished product. The Anacortes Schoold Foundation's Celebrate the Season weekend featured a gingerbread house-building contest.
