A former Port of Anacortes employee has filed charges of retaliation and discrimination with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against the Port and Port Commission President Bob Eberle.

Warren Tessler announced that he is a candidate for the Island Hospital Board of Commissioners, Position 2.  That seat is currently held by Buzz Ely, MD who has said that he will be stepping down at the end of this year when his term expires.
