A 44-year old Anacortes woman was taken to the county jail and booked on a num be of charges including assault, trespassing, theft and resisting arrest.

It was a fun night for more than five-dozen scholarship winners, and their parents, at the Anacortes Schools Foundation’s 2016 Scholarships Ceremony. Sixty-two scholarships worth nearly $100,000 were handed out in the two-hour-plus ceremony at Brodniak Hall on Wednesday.
