It all comes down to uncertainty.

An early Monday morning earthquake was felt by many in Anacortes. According to USGS, the quake measured 4.5 and occurred at 5:02am. The earthquake was centered about six miles from from the southeast corner of Orcas Island. 

The ground was like a wet sponge as I entered the woods and walked between the columns of a great cathedral. And like a church, it was hushed, except for the drip, drip, drip of last night’s rain still falling from the canopy high above.

A top Democrat suggested it will be a lift just to fund the current program.

Confusing packaging, industry pressures and inconsistencies between programs have held back recycling rates. Lawmakers are looking for fixes.
