With the help of Anacortes Police, a city crew that picked up several bags of trash on Highway 20 located the owner and delivered it back to their home so they could dispose of it properly.

The two-person crew from Skagit Valley College's Marine Tech Center in Anacortes paddled to a victory in Saturday's Quick 'n' Dirty boat building contest at the Waterfront Festival. After building the boat using pre-established materials, including a lamp, the competitors raced down a raceway at Cap Sante Marina.
