Representatives from the City of Anacortes took part in a multi-county, multi-agency drill exercise today that simulated the breach of two Skagit River dams.

What started as a way to bring visitors to Anacortes during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival has turned into a 10-day series of events for the Anacortes Arts Festival.

Busted: The teenaged driver of a vehicle and three other teenagers in the car, who all admitted they had been drinking. The driver was hauled into the police station where police called his mother.
