Ana Anacortes resident was stung by a scam that didn’t involve the Internet when he responded to a letter telling him he had won a $1.5 million jackpot. Instead of winning, he lost almost $5,000.
Anacortes Police cited a driver for driving under the influence, then three hours later, according to police, he found his car in a tow yard and drove off. Then, he was was cited for DUI again.

Anacortes resident Anthony Young alerted us that a video of the celebration was available online. He wrote, “I was Impressed!!! The students were amazing, brilliant, and gave me hope for the future.”
