Hilary Franz, Commissioner of Public Lands, announced on Sunday the termination of Cooke Aquaculture’s lease for its Cypress Island facility. Cooke Aquaculture (Cooke) raises Atlantic salmon at the site and leases the aquatic lands from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
