Jazz Lecture Series: The Clarinet and the Big Band, presented by Barry Erb “The Clarinet and the Big Band” will highlight the careers of Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Artie Shaw, and Glenn Miller. We will explore how these leaders featured and used the clarinet in defining the sound of their individual bands in the Big Band Swing era.  Presented by bv Barry Erb, director of A’Town Big Band and Herding Kats as well as the Program Director for Northwest Big Band Jazz Camp.   Thursday, May 15
