Island Health to Host Breast, Cervical & Colon Cancer Screening

Cancer screening saves lives, and knowledge can save even more. Community members are invited to attend Island Health’s Screening Saturday, a free cancer screening health fair dedicated to breast, cervical and colorectal cancer awareness and prevention on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This interactive and educational event is designed for anyone due for a screening, caring for a loved one, or simply looking to stay informed about cancer prevention. Attendees will have access to experienced medical providers offering guidance, answering questions and supporting participants every step of the way.

Guests can begin their journey by picking up a Passport to Health at Island Health’s Main Entrance and collecting stamps at each screening station. Completed passports will be eligible for a grand prize gift basket.

While the event is free to attend, additional charges may apply for certain screenings.
