3rd Annual Nautical Treasure Hunt

The Anacortes Arts Festival and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce the return of the 3rd Annual Nautical Treasure Hunt, taking place April 18 – 27, 2025. This unique event invites both locals and visitors to embark on a community-wide treasure hunt, exploring Anacortes’ vibrant local businesses and breathtaking natural surroundings.

Throughout the 10-day event, approximately 250 prize balls will be hidden in local businesses, parks, and public spaces. Lucky treasure hunters who discover a prize ball will receive a special nautical-themed art piece crafted by talented local artists. Prizes include beautifully designed whale tiles, sailboat prints, sea-inspired jewelry, and more.

This event is a fantastic way to unite the community, highlight local artists and businesses, and celebrate Anacortes’ deep maritime heritage.  It’s an adventure that brings people together and encourages exploration of everything Anacortes has to offer.

Everyone is encouraged to join the hunt! Whether you’re a local resident, a visiting family, or a curious traveler, the Nautical Treasure Hunt is free and open to all. This event promises excitement, creativity, and a chance to take home a one-of-a-kind nautical treasure.
