Kids get Halloween treats downtown

A little Super Hero gets a treat from an employee at Island Home Collection Saturday as downtown merchants welcome kids to trick-or-treat. The weather was good and the sidewalks were filled with kids.

Trestle may re-open by next April

The City and the Samish Indian Nation say that they hope to re-open the causeway & trestle portion of the Tommy Thompson Trail, damaged by fire earlier this month, by April of next year.
