High winds on Thursday knocked out electricity to as many as 900 Puget Sound Energy customers on Fidalgo island, mostly on South Fidalgo. Ferries have been running behind schedule most of the day.

Puget Sound Energy reported, "We have outages spread throughout Island, Skagit and Whatcom counties. Crews are patrolling outages and restoring customers as conditions allow. Parts of Whidbey Island have significant damage. We set up a temporary base on the island to assist with restoration efforts."

Washington State Ferries reported that as of 1 pm Thyursday, the Chelan, Kitsap, and Tillikum remain an estimated 60 - 90 minutes behind schedule due to high winds. Due to its break in the schedule, the Kaleetan will be back on time for its remaining sailings which are the 3:05pm, 6:00pm, and 9:05pm Anacortes departures. All other Anacortes departures, and corresponding island departures will be delayed.
