The May First Friday Gallery Walk features new works by Amanda Houston, the lace work of Emma McNeil, spring prints from Anne Martin McCool. This work is Lyrical Stream by Amanda Houston.

Punctuating the western horizon across the Skagit Flats, a rocky dome stands sentinel above Fidalgo Island. For locals, it’s a coming-home beacon; for travelers, a sign they’re nearing Anacortes; for others, the mountain itself is the destination.

The downtown galleries will be open this Friday night from 6 to 9 pm as part of First Friday gallery walk. This work, "Riverside, Tan & Blue" by Keith Sorenson, will be among the works on display.
