Gallery Walk this coming Friday will feature large-scale steamroller block printing such as this one at the recent Anacortes Arts Festival.

A free two-day exhibit titled: "History of Commercial Fishing in Anacortes and Puget Sound" is scheduled Saturday and Sunday at the Eagles Hall, 901 7th Street in downtown Anacortes.

Adults and kids of all ages will be able to learn about the marine life in Fidalgo Bay while having fun, too, at the annual Fidalgo Bay Dan and National Estuaries Day this Saturday. 

Local artist Jennifer Bowman gets ready for the Anacortes Festival, which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening has been marketed as "Locals Night" ahead of the crowds that fill the city on the weekend.

Small antique engines and machines will be popping up all over Anacortes as organizers of the Anacortes Antique Engine & Machinery Show gear up for their final show in September.
