Café Impromptu

Updated July 4, 2024...Sunday Jazz Concert at The Heart of Anacortes featuring Café Impromptu Quartet with special guests guitarist Lisa Liu and saxophonist Tobi Stone 

Café Impromptu Quartet is an ensemble of swing jazz musicians inspired by the music of La Belle Époque and the repertoire of Romani-Belgian jazz guitarist and composer, Django Reinhardt. The band infuses their music with early classics and French chanson, waltzes and original tunes.

This special concert, made possible by the Manieri Jazz Endowment, welcomes internationally recognized San Francisco jazz guitarist, Lisa Liu, during her performance visit to the PNW.

Café Impromptu Quartet features: Adrienne Reed, vocals/accordion. Jennie Mayer, guitar, Kristi O’Donnell, double bass and Molly Felder, vocals/percussion with special guests Lisa Liu on guitar and Tobi Stone, reeds.

In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the Anacortes Library Meeting Room located at 1220 Tenth St, Anacortes, WA 98221. Dogs are not permitted in the Library Meeting Room.

This concert is free of charge thanks to the Manieri Jazz Endowment.
