Pacific Mammal Research, an Anacortes based nonprofit that researches our local harbor seal and harbor porpoise populations, is celebrating our 10th anniversary this year! In celebration of this milestone, we are hosting a FREE community celebration at the Skyline Cabana on October 27th. This family friendly event will feature guided study site tours with our research team, a fun trivia competition, an under-the-sea themed costume contest for children, marine mammal education, delicious refreshments, and a raffle/silent auction with a chance to win exciting prizes. This fundraiser event will help Pacific Mammal Research raise money for our research projects, internship stipends, and community science initiatives. We can't wait to see you there!

Join Anacortes Music Project and 20 bands on two stages on September 6th from 12pm-9pm at Seafarers' Memorial Park for a day full of music, food, beverages and a jolly good time. There will be a beer garden provided by Anacortes Brewery, a ice cream truck, a bagel truck and a taco truck. This event is a fundraiser for the Anacortes Music Project a 501 C non-profit organization dedicated to amplifying the music of Anacortes. AMP is raising money towards an all ages music venue and creative space that carries on the tradition of our vibrant local music scene. This event is family friendly and FREE.
