Professor Emeritus of Geology at Eastern Washington University, Gene Kiver will explore the geology of our state, with an emphasis on the west side of the mountains. The land that we now call Washington State formed from the east side to the west side over the past billion years. New mountains are forming today along our west coast. The effects of present and past glaciers, volcanoes, and erosion has formed outstanding world-class geological features. Wednesday, January 17, 7:00 pm at the library.
