The 59th Anacortes Arts Festival, July 31 through August 2 is one of the largest and oldest arts festivals in the Northwest.  It has received top awards from the Washington and International Festival and Event Associations. It annually attracts an estimated 90,000 visitors.   Hours are Friday 10 – 7, Saturday 10 – 6 and Sunday 10 – 5.

Over 250 juried Booth Artisans fill historic downtown Anacortes with all manner of handmade arts and crafts.  Three stages featuring Rock, Country, Jazz, World and more showcase 40 musical acts from around the region.   Working Studios finds master craftsmen demonstrating traditional, contemporary and folk-art forms.  Food trucks and vendors serve up ethnic, regional, and healthy offerings.  Three beer & wine gardens pour microbrews, regional wines and cocktails.

The unique Arts at the Port showcases Northwest juried fine artists working in 2D and 3D in a rustic waterfront gallery.  The show opens with a free community celebration of the arts on Saturday, July 25 at 6pm.

A fun hands-on youth activity area for kids and Art Dash certified half marathon 10k & 5k round out the Festival activities.  Most events are free.    Visit www.AnacortesArtsFestival.com for more information.
