Farmers Market Update

It's no secret that right now is actually the best time of year to find tons of abundance at the Farmers Market.  From tomatoes and peppers to squashes and pumpkins, the last of the nectarines and peaches, fabulous cheeses, baked goods (the list goes on and on), this weekend cannot be beat for getting your fill at the market.  Scroll down to see all that's fresh this week.  Only 4 Saturdays left to find your favorite goodies down at the Depot Arts Center, between 6th & 7th on R Avenue.  Stock up this week from 9am - 2pm.

This week find tomatoes, peppers, apples,pears, peaches, nectarines, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, beets, onions, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, apricots, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, radishes, mixed greens, garlic, sunflower sprouts, bokchoy, kale, chard, turnips, potatoes, kohlrabi, herbs, plants for the garden, chevre, feta, mozzarella, cheddar, montasio and others, butter, cream, beef, pork, eggs, salmon, smoked salmon, BBQ sauce, bread, fresh fudge, granola, scones, coffee, cinnamon rolls, soaps and lotions, spicy kitchen decor, warm socks, sparkling jewelry, fuzzy scarves, jellies and jams, dog treats and accessories,  Come hungry!

The Antique Machinery Show is happening this Saturday next to the Farmer's Market.  Bring your family for tons of fun viewing historic steam engines, cars and tractors and get a free hayride to the Farmer's Market.  

Chamber supports proposed city hearing examiner

There are proposed changes to the land-use application process that are winding their way through city review. The gist of the changes would be to introduce a professional hearing examiner, who would take the lead role in approving applications.
