Dozens of dogs took their owners to Storvik Park today for the fourth annual Bark in the Park. These dogs and their owner competed in the Best Costume contest.

Seattle author David Guterson's fourth and newest book, "The Other," shows off his hometown and conflicts involving youth and idealism, adulthood and its compromises, and two powerfully different visions of what it means to live a good life.

A new law designed to protect Orcas goes into effect Thursday (June 12). The new legislation prohibits boats and vessels from coming within 300 feet of an orca whale.
