Bark in the Park

Dozens of dogs took their owners to Storvik Park today for the fourth annual Bark in the Park. These dogs and their owner competed in the Best Costume contest.

This week, farmers will have kale, mixed greens, arugula, morels, shiitake, beets, head lettuce, chard, kohlrabi, mustard greens, scallions, radishes, spinach, onions, brassicas, herbs, head lettuce, chevre, mozzarella, gouda, feta, cheddar, halibut, cooked shrimp, salmon and smoked salmon.

New Orca protection goes into effect

A new law designed to protect Orcas goes into effect Thursday (June 12). The new legislation prohibits boats and vessels from coming within 300 feet of an orca whale.
