Electronic Attack Squadron 134 (VAQ-134) will hold a Change of Command ceremony March 8th 2018 at 10 a.m. in Hangar 5 on NAS Whidbey Island.
At the ceremony, CDR Terrence M. Shashaty will transfer command of VAQ-134 to CDR Robert H. Eastman III.
VAQ-134 flies the EA-18G, which is the fourth major variant of the F/A-18 family of aircraft. Their mission is offensive suppression of an adversary's electromagnetic spectrum, focused primarily on radars and communications. The EA-18G is the Navy’s primary tactical jamming aircraft.
