Radio station off this weekend |

Our local radio station, KWLE, the Whale, will be off the air this weekend as the move their studios off Commercial Ave and onto 32nd St.
The station, purchased recently by Robert and Jennifer Uteda, is moving to the former home of Happy Valley Farms, at 904 32nd St. The station has been located at 2416 Commercial Ave. for nearly 40 years.
Bill Berry, who owned the station for 43 years, bought the property where the station is currently located, in 1975. He plans to remodel the building and said he has several prospective renters.
The station's move this weekend means they will be off the air Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
