Five people have been arrested and drugs seized at a Skyline home following an investigation by the Skagit County drug task force. Undercover detectives purchased drugs from them on several occasions, according to task force chief Will Reichardt.
The arrests of 3 men and 2 women took place Tuesday at a home in the 44000 block of Bryce Drive in Skyline after a swat team surrounded the home. They seized one pound heroin, several ounces of cocaine and what Reichardt called a 'small amount' of methamphetamine.
Reichardt said the home appeared to have been a drug distribution center for Skagit, Whatcom and Snohnomish counties. He said the drug task force is continuing to investigate the drug organization.
According to one neighbor, a swat team swarmed around the house before going in to make arrests. She said other neighbors gathered in their front yards to watch the action.
