Firefighters battle a fire on the trestle across Fidalgo Bay Thursday. The fire was first reported around noon on the trestle portion of the Tommy Thompson Trail. The isolated location meant firefighters had to run hoses from a land side fire truck out across the half-mile long trestle. The fire attracted onlookers all along Fidalgo Bay.
