 Ian Munce, a familiar face at City Hall for 27 years, has resigned as City Planning Director and City Attorney, effective at the end of July. Munce says he will take a job with the City of Tacoma.

Mount Baker looked beautiful across Padilla Bay from the east side of Fidalgo Island this afternoon. The Weather Service says this weekend will be warm, even hot in some locations around Northwest Washington. However, they’re forecasting high temperatures in Anacortes will only hit the mid-70’s.
