Friends of Keith Anderson have organized a candlelight vigil for 6pm on Wednesday night at Causland Park. Anderson has been missing since, Wed., Jan. 6. He retired from being a counselor at the high school about 2 years ago. - From Libby Digweed. |

Auditions for "Getting Away with Murder" will be held at Anacortes Community Theatre on Sat January 23rd from 1 to 4 PM and Sunday January 24th from 7 to 9 PM. There are roles for 6 men and 3 women. Call Eal Lundquist (360 941-5744) with questions. Audition materials are available at "ACT" office.

The local community service group known as DASH is hosting a Trestle Fundraiser called “TRESTLEMANIA,” on March 13th at the Port. They are in need of your pre-fire photos of the Trestle and/or your stories about what the Trestle has meant to you while biking, walking and running on the Trestle. Growing up in Anacortes, Jane Brazas was “always moving,” she says. She lets go of her walker and shimmies her shoulders. “I’ve liked to dance since I was little.” Her mother often asked her to dance for others, and Jane was never too shy to oblige.
