Thomas Boucher (D), former candidate for the 40th District open seat being vacated by retiring Representative Dave Quall, has endorsed fellow Democrat Kris Lytton.
Democrat Kris Lytton is gaining momentum in her race to fill the seat vacated by retiring Rep. David Quall. In the past week Lytton has earned the sole endorsements of both the Public School Employees of Washington (SIEU 1948) and the Washington Education Association.
I caught up with Kris outside the Friday Harbor library last weekend with husband Mike, who used their moped to get around the island after the ferry ride. Kris campaigned on the island and met with voters at the library on Saturday.
Kris Lytton, President of the Anacortes School Board, has picked up the endorsement of the National Women's Political Caucus of Washington in her bid for the state House of Representatives seat now held by Dave Quall, who says he won't run again.
Kris Lytton has scheduled the formal kick-off of her campaign for a seat in the state House of Representatives for Monday, April 12 at Gere-a-Deli in Anacortes. The event will be held from 5- 7pm.
