The first Anacortes Real Estate EXPO will be held at the Northwest Educational Service District Building at 1601 R Avenue, Anacortes, March 8th, 11 am - 4 pm.  
 
The event was organized by the team members of Jean Groesbeck & Associates, local Windermere Real Estate agents.  “We have brought together experts on subjects relating not just to the purchase and saleof real estate, but also areas of interest to anyone who currently owns a home, plans to own a home one day, or would like helpful hints on how to maintain or improve their home to add equity,” Groesbeck said.   
 
Exhibitors will provide information about the latest trends in home design and construction, remodeling tips, home improvement projects, pest control, preparing your home to sell, the home buying and selling process, moving tips, home equity loans, credit reports, the home inspection process and much more. Exhibitors will be providing show specials, providing complimentary seminars and demonstrations throughout the day.  REALTORS® will be available to provide you with information on the current value of your home and show you how to search the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) from your home computer.
   
In addition to the classes and demonstrations, there will be informative presentations by Mitch Everson, Executive Director of the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, Bob Hyde, Executive Director of the Port of Anacortes, and Bill Mitchell, the man behind the Murals of Anacortes. Both the show and the seminars are open to the public and are complimentary.  Children are welcome.  Raffle items will be given away throughout the day with a drawing each hour on the half hour as well as drawings at the end of the day.
