New roundabout to open Friday at I-5 interchange in Burlington

The I-5/Chuckanut Drive interchange in Burlington will reopen with a new roundabout and repaved southbound I-5 on- and off-ramps at 5 a.m. on Friday, July 30. The interchange will open one day later than originally scheduled.

Summer ferry service starts Sunday

The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division (WSF) will begin operating its summer 2010 sailing schedule on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20, with additional vessels, sailings and service hours on the more popular tourism routes.

Construction starts on I-5/Chuckanut interchange

The weather might still seem like winter, but the orange fencing, signs and construction equipment at the I-5/Chuckanut Drive interchange in Burlington mean construction season has arrived. Crews are moving into position and gearing up to rebuild and improve the congested interchange.
