The Anacortes School District is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2009-10 Walter A. Brodniak Cultural Education Award are now being accepted.

The Walter A. Brodniak Cultural Education Award was created in 1977, upon Mr. Brodniak's retirement as Superintendent of the Anacortes School District, "to foster growth of the cultural arts in the District." School Board community luncheon set

In cooperation with the Anacortes Senior Center, the Anacortes School Board invites the community to be their lunch guest on March 19, 2009 at the Anacortes Senior Center.
