It’s time for the sixth(!) Annual Fidalgo Shoreline Academy!   Come spend a day with us hearing from top scientists and local community leaders on a wide range of topics designed to broaden your perspectives, deepen your knowledge, and inspire you to learn more.  

Our Keynote speaker will be Dr. Phoebe Barnard, Executive Director of the Pacific Biodiversity Institute, who will present “When Rome is Burning” - a talk on the alarming decline of global biodiversity, what it all means, and what we can do about it.   Come join us for the day to hear other environmental presentations and chose from a wide variety of fascinating lectures and interactive programs.  

Registration begins Sept. 6 and closes October 19.  5.0 FREE clock hours are available to educators.  

The Academy is sponsored by Friends of Skagit Beaches whose mission is to protect Skagit County’s shorelines through education, research and stewardship.
